Carroll Township was founded in 1835. The township contains 33.7 square miles of land, and is home to more than 1,900 residents. Carroll Township is home to wildlife, farming, fishing, boating, and Davis-Besse nuclear power plant. During the summer months, many tourists join the population of Carroll Township to take advantage of the natural beauty found on Lake Erie and the Toussaint River.

CEMETERY FALL CLEAN UP ANNOUNCED: Rusha & Locust Point Cemeteries Fall Cleanup is underway. Please remove any decorations that you want to keep before November 1 or they will be discarded. Allow 2 weeks before putting out new decorations. Cemetery Rules: Nothing is allowed on the ground in front or behind headstones. No Glass Containers and grave blankets are allowed in the winter.
